HILLSBORO, Ore., January 30, 2024: InRoads Credit Union is pleased to announce that Octavio (Tavo) Rojas Coronel has been named Branch Manager for its new Orenco Station Branch in Hillsboro opening in summer 2024. Coronel was selected after an extensive search across the Pacific Northwest, where he stood out amongst the pool of qualified candidates based on his industry experience, commitment to community and understanding of local small businesses. Coronel will oversee branch operations and be responsible for delivering an optimal experience for members and prospective members visiting the branch.

“I’m excited to join a company that places the financial wellness of its members and the community above all else,” said Coronel. “I look forward to forming relationships in Hillsboro and deepening the impact that InRoads has made in the community. I can’t wait to dive into the future alongside everyone here!”

In response to the decision to expand its physical presence into Hillsboro, InRoads embarked on a comprehensive search for dynamic individuals to join its team. Recognizing the unique needs of the community, the credit union placed a special emphasis on recruiting bilingual staff to cater to the diverse population.

Having served as branch manager at another local credit union for three years, Coronel will bring valuable experience to his new position. His fluency in Spanish will enhance his capacity to engage and connect with the community.

“We are confident that Tavo will be a great asset to our new location,” said Katie Woodall, Chief Retail Officer. “With his help, we believe the new branch will contribute significantly to the economic and financial well-being of the area.”

The Orenco Station branch will offer a wide range of services, including personal and business banking, small business loans, mortgages, financial planning, and more.
