Video Scholarship Applications Open for Graduating Seniors Through InRoads Credit Union Program

St. Helens, Ore. — February 17,2026 — In an effort to help local graduating seniors start off on the right foot financially, InRoads Credit Union is now accepting applications for its 2026 Digital Scholarship, which will award two $2,500 scholarships to support recipients’ college education during the 2026-2027 academic year.

Unlike a traditional scholarship application, the Digital Scholarship uses a video-based format. Applicants must create two public videos, each 30 to 60 seconds long, encouraging peers to become members of InRoads Credit Union. Videos must be posted on a social media platform such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or YouTube and include the hashtag #InRoadsScholarship.

“We believe in investing in our future, and that starts with supporting young people right here in our communities,” said Nathan Cox, President and CEO of InRoads Credit Union. “Our team is already in local schools teaching financial wellness, and this scholarship is an extension of that work. With students online every day, the video-based application meets them where they are and helps remove barriers to applying.”

The Digital Scholarship is open to InRoads Credit Union members who are graduating high school seniors, have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher, and plan to attend an accredited college or university. Scholarship funds will be distributed once recipients have been officially accepted to their school of choice.

To apply, students must complete an online application at inroadscu.org/scholarship, submit links to their videos, and arrange for an official high school transcript to be sent directly from their school. Videos must remain publicly available through at least Dec. 31, 2026.

The application deadline is April 30, 2026. Official transcripts must be postmarked by May 10, 2026. Scholarship recipients will be notified by May 31, 2026.

Questions about the scholarship program may be directed to Director of Marketing, Hannah Baldwin at 503-366-6418 or [email protected]. For full eligibility requirements and application details, visit inroadscu.org/scholarship.
