Credit Union is pleased to announce the selection of Nathan Cox as the credit union’s new President/Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Cox will
succeed Ms. Brooke Van Vleet-Pearson, who is retiring after serving in
the role for nearly 11 years.

excited to have Nathan Cox joining InRoads Credit Union as our next
CEO,” said Lea Chitwood, Board Chair. “With Nathan’s strong
commercial background, his dedication to community, and his ability to
align teams, he will further build on Van Vleet-Pearson’s legacy of
success. The Board is excited to welcome Nathan to our community and is looking forward to him leading the Credit Union in the years ahead.”

Cox has over 35 years of business and professional experience, primarily in the financial services industry. He held senior management positions for over 15 years, most recently as the Senior Vice President, Chief Lending Officer at Travis Credit Union in Vacaville, CA. Cox has extensive Non-Profit Board experience and currently serves as a board member and chairs the Finance Committee at the California Medicine Coalition. He is actively involved in credit union organizations like the African American Credit Union Coalition and in the community in organizations such as the Employee Development Network, the African American Business Resource Group, and the American Diabetes and Alzheimer's Associations. He has volunteered with the United Way, Goodwill of Sacramento Valley, and Habitat for Humanity for Greater Sacramento, and is looking forward to continuing this
engagement in the communities served by InRoads Credit Union. Cox holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Loyola Marymount University, and an MBA in corporate finance from Golden Gate
University.
