INtroducing: The Side Hustle Business Bundle
Giving entrepreneurs the legit tools, confidence, and financial setup to grow on their terms.
ST. HELENS, Ore. — September 23, 2025 — Columbia County small businesses have a new opportunity for funding support. InRoads Credit Union is launching a small business grant program for the community this fall, giving local entrepreneurs the chance to apply for one of 11 grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. In total, $25,000 in funding will be awarded.
Applications are due online (here) by Nov. 15 and must meet the following criteria:
“We currently provide a wide variety of products and services to small businesses in Columbia County and have a pulse on their needs,” said Nathan Cox, President/CEO, InRoads Credit Union. “These grants are another example of our ongoing commitment to the communities we serve. Whether they’re used to invest in software to improve efficiency, update equipment or cover part-time wages, the impact will be meaningful”
To further its commitment, InRoads will waive all small business loan origination fees from Sept. 15 through Nov. 15 in Columbia, Clatsop, Cowlitz, Multnomah and Washington Counties.
“Our goal is to remove as many barriers as possible for local business owners. By waiving loan origination fees for small business loans and offering grants, we can support small businesses as they continue to create jobs, strengthen neighborhoods and fuel economic growth,” said Cox.
InRoads has supported local businesses for more than 50 years through loans, partnerships and community programs.
