Orenco Station Property Transforms Into New InRoads Credit Union Branch
HILLSBORO, Ore. — November 8, 2024 — A 2,400-square-foot space in the thriving Orenco Station neighborhood has been transformed from an Umpqua Bank branch to a fully refinished interior for a new InRoads Credit Union branch. Set to open early 2025, at 6175 NE Cornell Rd., this new branch will serve the growing financial needs of Washington County and help make financial wellness more approachable and communal.
For this transformation, InRoads turned to its longtime contractor partner, Rich Bailey of Rich Bailey Construction LLC, a locally owned general contracting business serving Columbia County for more than 35 years. After a complete interior demolition, the new location has been updated from the traditional style of bank teller rows to feature an open, inviting atmosphere, characteristic of the company’s aesthetic in other branches, and will include community-friendly amenities.
“I’ve partnered with InRoads on the construction or remodel of all their other locations — this project continued our tradition of creating a homey feel,” said Bailey. “With the addition of woodwork, a fireplace, open seating and even a coffee nook, this new location will provide visitors a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.”
Situated in a prime walking area, adjacent to the Hillsboro Farmers Market location, the new branch will not only be involved in the community, it will offer area residents a wide range of services — including personal and business banking, small business loans, mortgages, and financial planning — significantly contributing to the area’s advancement.
“We’re excited to bring the unique InRoads member experience to the Orenco Station community,” said Nathan Cox, President and CEO, InRoads Credit Union. “We are proud of the work that Rich Bailey and his team have put into creating this space.”
